Forums have been installed. Now everyone can go insane and start forum trolling till xmas! lol. Enjoy!
Well I finally figured out the issue with the website widget.
Now the site should be up and running officially with real pictures.
I'm going to start slow at first with the marketing so that I can work on bugs if they arise. Hopefully though the code is good and we can let her rip.
Well the submission system is pretty much complete. You can now upload photos and get confirmation emails and whatnot. That seems to be working great.
What I'm working on now is the Myspace/website widget that will show when you were/will be famous.
Once that is done then I will start to market the site out to all the social networking sites. :)
I've finished up with the front page changer. And also I've done the picture changer on the side nav.
So now if you submit an image and it's approved you should see yourself on the front page.
I've worked more on the image submission system and entering the image data in the db.
I have to work on a email authentication system to weed out fake submissions. Once that is done The site will be accepting pictures for their shot at 16 Mins of Fame.
I started working on the picture submission page. I've gotten email verification and file verification to work. File types jpeg and gif only, file size.
Now I just need to finish the image resizing and moving part. Hopefully I'll be done sometime this week with that.
I just finished the Contact page. So if you need to send me an email with a suggestion or something. Well now you can. :)
I've worked on the site navigation some. It still needs some work but it's a start.
Linked from the navigation is the news. Also below it will be the pictures of the previously famous person and the 3 next upcomming.

So if you're reading this you are seeing actual news from the dbase.
I have to work on the css styling for the news blocks so that's next.
Hopefully after I'm done with this I'll do the contact page so you guys can send me comments and whatnot.
Well I've got the site design to where I like it.
I hope everyone likes the Mini stretch limo at the bottom of the page. I am relatively pleased with the way the site loads up using just divs.
I've decided to use nice looking urls instead of some ugly thing like, category=123.
And after I get that done I'm going to work on the database tables.
